Here is a brief description of the different stones we handle:

Natural Diamond or Natural Gems: Precious stones extracted from the earth with specific characteristics that give them their value.

Lab-grown Diamond or Gems: Manufactured in a laboratory under controlled conditions. Using popular chemical vapor deposition (CVD) or high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) methods, scientists create diamonds and gemstones that optically resemble their earth-mined counterparts and contain the same chemical and physical attributes.

Moissanite: A lab-created diamond simulant composed of silicon carbide. It has become a very popular diamond alternative due to its accessible price, as well as its brilliant characteristics and durable quality comparable to that of a diamond. Used only in special orders.

Our pieces in .950 silver and 14k gold require specific care to maintain their original shine.Every piece of jewelry created by Dinur is designed and manufactured to be eternal and timeless. Still, certain materials used in our jewelry may oxidize or lose their shine over time. To slow down this process, we recommend that you remove your jewelry when sleeping, showering, swimming, or exercising. And when not in use, store it inside its packaging in a safe, moisture-free place.

Here are some effective tips so you can clean your pieces at home and restore that unique shine that occasionally hides:

.950 Silver: This fine metal naturally oxidizes over time. Your silver piece can be cleaned and its original shine restored by polishing it with a polishing cloth or using this simple home remedy:

• Add half a cup of vinegar to a clean bowl. Add two tablespoons of baking soda.
• Place your jewelry in the solution and let it soak for two to three hours.
• Rinse the jewelry with clean water and dry it with a clean cloth.

Gold Vermeil: As a delicate finish, these types of jewelry pieces require meticulous attention and care. Clean your item with a soft, damp cloth when necessary and ensure it is completely dry before wearing.

Additional tips:

• Do not expose your piece to water. Remove it when showering, exercising, or swimming.
• Avoid using harsh polishing cloths, harsh chemicals, or jewelry cleaners, as this will affect the gold finish.
• For storage: store your piece in a jewelry box or in a tightly sealed bag when not in use. This prevents tarnishing and oxidation.

14k Gold: Precious metals that do not oxidize or discolor, as they are the least reactive metal. To increase longevity and maintain cleanliness, polish with a polishing cloth or use this simple home remedy:

• Add a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid to a bowl filled with two cups of warm (not hot) water.
• Drop your gold pieces into the solution and let them soak for about 15 minutes.
• Remove the jewelry from the solution and gently scrub it with a soft-bristled toothbrush to remove accumulated dirt from nooks and crannies.
• Rinse the piece in a bowl of warm water to remove any soap residue.
• With a soft cloth, dry your jewelry thoroughly and polish it to restore its shine.
